Report content
Reporting illegal content, non-consensual material, or a suspected minor? Those reports are handled ahead of everything else, at any hour. Use the report control on the page in question, or write to abuse@lalalust.com with the address and a short description.
How to report
Fastest route, if you are signed in: the “Report” control on a creator profile or on a wish. It reaches our moderation queue immediately and carries the context with it, so we do not have to ask you which page you meant. That control covers profiles and wishes only — catalogue items, orders and messages have no in-page report button yet.
For everything else, and if you have no account: write to abuse@lalalust.com with the address of the page. That route is open to anyone and is read by the same people. You do not have to explain yourself at length — one line and a link is enough.
What we do
- A report about minors or non-consent is marked urgent by the system the moment it is filed: it moves to the front of the moderation queue and alerts our team straight away. When we see it, the content comes down and the account is suspended while we look into it.
- Everything else is reviewed by a person, normally within 24 hours.
- We keep a record of every report and of the action taken.
- If you gave us a way to reach you, we tell you the outcome.
Reports to the authorities
Content that sexualises a minor is a crime, not a policy violation. Our procedure for it is written down and does not depend on who is on duty:
- Preserve, do not delete. The material is taken out of public view immediately, but it is not erased — deleting it would destroy the evidence. It is locked so that only the person handling the case can reach it.
- Suspend. The account is suspended at once, before any assessment of intent.
- Report. We report to the NCMEC CyberTipline and, because we operate from Switzerland, to the Swiss federal police (fedpol) via their reporting form. Where a user or the content points to another country, we report there as well. We do this whether or not we are legally obliged to, and we do not wait for legal advice first.
- Do not tip off. The account holder is told that the account is suspended. They are not told that a report has been made, and they get no opportunity to remove anything first.
- Record. What was reported, when, to whom, by whom, and the reference number we get back. This record is kept even after the material itself is handed over.
- Cooperate. We answer requests from law enforcement about a reported case directly and without requiring a court order first, where the law allows us to.
For non-consensual material involving adults the first two steps are the same. Whether it goes to the police depends on what the person depicted wants — we ask them, and we do not report over their objection unless the law requires it.
The person responsible for this at lalalust is the operator named in the imprint. While lalalust is small enough that this is one person, there is no rota to hide behind and no queue this can sit in.
If you appear in something published here
Write to abuse@lalalust.com. We act within 24 hours and we do not ask you to prove ownership or identity first. Getting it down comes before getting it verified.
